City of Edmonton Arena Capacity Guidelines

New for the 2020/2021 Season are limits on spectators per player due to the seating capacity limits in the City of Edmonton facilities.

The limits per player, which varies based on arena capacity, are shown below. If these limitations are not followed on the honor system attendance may be further restricted.

Please be mindful and respectful of those families that may not have other options and need to bring other children into the facility. Hopefully as the season progresses these limitations will change.

Arenas not listed continue to operate at 25% of capacity to a maximum of 100 spectators.

Team Managers should touch base with the opposing manager to work out any concerns.

For Arenas not listed please follow the below chart to determine spectators:

Capacity < 37 people - no spectators
Capacity 37 - 70 - 1 spectator per player
Capacity 71 - 90 - 2 spectators per player
Capacity 91 - 100 - Up to 3 spectators per player

The Hawks Athletic Club is a member of Hockey Edmonton and has been providing organized hockey in northwest Edmonton since 1987. The Hawks Athletic Club is open to all boys and girls, aged 4 through 12 years (timbits through peewee), residing in Edmonton north of Stony Plain Road and the MacKinnon Ravine to the city boundary and 97 Street west to the city limits.

You will find our program fun, exciting and competitive, with our main goal being the development of skating and hockey skills.
